February 2007 - Ajax Engine

Ajax (Asynchronous JavaScript And XML), a framework used for the implementation of web applications, is now ready to run as BSP in SAP. There's no client installation necessary, the Ajax engine will be loaded by the browser when launching a website for the first time. The Ajax engine supports all browsers running XML on each operation system. With this engine it's possible to create interactive applications in high ergonimics and a great performance as well.
 

January 2007 - Xaption GmbH was order by Siemens Power Generation

In January 2007 the Xaption GmbH was order by Siemens Power Generation in Trenton NJ (USA), with the technical lead of the implementation of SAP ECC 6.0.
Xaption is responsible for all local developments and the data migration in Trenton, as well as the coordination of all interfaces within USA and Canada and the Siemens network worldwide.

 
 
 
 

September 2006

On Sep.12th, 2006 Voith Paper launched the productive start of the new material stock maintenance developed by Xaption. This solution provides a status based creation and editing of new materials. For the first time multi dimensional status objects are being used. One dimension covers the user status sequence while the second follows along the organisational layers and lines of the material stock. Dependencies and multi step releasing are freely configurable. A major feature of this add-on solution is the status based mass editing of the material stock views in a highly dynamic ALV grid.

After Evobus GmbH has been using the Xaption solution XSP in production since autumn 2005 at their main production plants in Mannheim, Ulm, Ligny and Samano, now effectively on April 1st 2006 they rolled out XSP (internally named PUK) at the Turkish plant in Davutpasa-Istanbul.

DSAG survey about investment plans in 2006: mySAP ERP takes the lead

If SAP users are investing, they mainly do so in mySAP ERP. This is the result of the annual online survery of the German speaking SAP user group (DSAG e.V.) According to this survey investments in SAP R/3 Enterprise are clearly decreasing.
